Christina Heinen, Owner / Stylist - Onyx Team
Christina Heinen
A 2005 graduate from Lamar-Port Arthur College, with a Cosmetology degree, Christina Heinen has been perfecting her competencies since attainment of her license. She started her career in North Dallas, relocating to Austin two years later to be closer to family and friends.
After working at high-end salons she built her experience platform, becoming interested in owning her own salon. Inspired, she returned to school and obtained a degree in Fashion Design and Marketing. Being a business owner was a 20-year goal for her, but she did it in just seven years.
Onyx Salon is her first stab at entrepreneurship, but her track record and education supports this endeavor. Positioned for success, her experience is diversified by photo shoots, fashion shows, hair shows, event planning and charity work with The Women's Shelter of Williamson County called Hope Alliance, where her and her team donate their time and hair services. Christina is a member of Young Women’s Alliance. The Young Women’s Alliance (YWA) is an organization of women that empowers its members to develop personally and professionally through educational programs and opportunities to lead, network and serve.
Christina believes that relationships with her clients are not simply transactions, rather opportunities to constantly surround herself with people she enjoys spending time with while she does what she loves.
